Two childcare facilities  
  Two childcare institutions in Plainview become one following a merger on Monday, Feb. 1.Involved were Desirae’s Childcare, which was owned and operated by Desirae Schwager in her home in Plainview, and Kids in Christ’s Kingdom, a faith-based childcare that was started in mid-2009 by Zion Lutheran congregation.

Both bowling teams head to state
   On Sunday, January 31st, Plainview girls and boys bowling teams traveled to Kings Lanes in Norfolk to compete in the C-1 District in what has been, arguably, the toughest district in the state. What was at stake was berth to the state tournament in class C to be held at Hollywood Lanes in Lincoln on February 13th and 14th.
