hundreds of Plainview and area residents since it was established in 1916. Many

profession, utilize up-to-date computer technology and visit the library with their
own children.
The Plainview Public Library Foundation was organized in 2001 for the purpose
of seeking gifts of all kinds for the benefit of Plainview Public Library. The
Foundation is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a non-profit organization.
